just wanted to ask a quick question. are 105mm edf's allowed at the field?

I assume your question, more accurately asked, is, is a model with a 105mm edf fan permitted at TEMAC?

The simple answer is yes.

However, I have seen some pilots attempt to fly larger (12s) powered jets, but not successfully. All ended with crashes or severe damage. Our runway is likely too short.

While it would be allowed, our field may not be suitable for it.
