Friday was a perfect evening for flying steady south wind. I had my Telemaster out for technical inspection and taxi training. Roy Bourke showed up with his Hornet and a glider. Clair spent about 3/4 of an hour setting up and fine tuning the telemaster and Roy helped out with setting low and high trims on the transmitter. Tuck was there taking pictures and comparing transmitter battery life between charges. Nestor arrived and as dusk fell flew with lights on.
The grass looks to be in perfect condition my taxi skills showed marked improvement if only my batteries would keep up. It proved one thing those Marz batteries are not up to any kind of stress so it's off to get better ones.
Thanks to everyone who helped out last night.

Well, I finally found a Wednesday evening to go flying at TEMAC tonight, drove up there hoping for the best, and drove right past the field and headed home.  Just too windy to be any fun.  No one else was there when I drove by.  [V]

I'll try again next week, or maybe on the weekend.

It was too windy.

Call me anytime you want to go; I'll go almost anytime.
