Hi everyone, I just wanted a few words of advice I am thinking of getting a flight sim. I'm wondering weather I should get the Phoenix or RealFlight 6. The reason I ask is because Phoenix seems like a really good deal and I can also use my DX6i with it.

They are both very good. RealFlight is probably the "biggest" in that it has tons of models etc. But if you're using it for training you don't need the game aspect it provides.

If Phoenix works with your TX then go for it.

Thanks. I was just looking through Kijiji and I found a guy who's selling RF G5.5 for $50 with the controller as well. Then it would cost me another 50 to upgrade to RF 6. What do you think?

Just got a reply from the guy selling RF G5.5. He said its sold :(

both are names are Imran, he is Imran Lalani and I am Imran Husein.  :) lol... And we are best friends, its funny

You can call me Murali or Immy or Imran 1 either is fine. Kind picked up a few nick names. Murali came from my math teacher this year.

Phoenix is OK for helis, but to me the planes don't fly quite right.

Real Flight seems to constantly want money for upgrades, expansion packs, etc.

For planes I like Aerofly Pro.

(I bought both Phoenix and Aerofly,  Real Flight I "have access to" if you catch my drift. But only an older version)
