The Box... Year Two

Well I have resigned myself to the fact that the Cub will not be ready this year. It's not time...just money.
So I re arranged "The Box" for the new planes. (Yak 54) 
And it was surprisingly easy to get everything in.

I made the pouches on each side for the Yak wings, moved the divider up a bit so the P51 fits at the back, and the Synco will fit on top of everything like I did last year with a blanket on top of the bottom planes to protect against scratching.

I will use this configuration for the trip up... But may make some sort of tie down on top of box for Yak so I don't have to take the wings off all the time. Just nervous since you would be able to see the plane through the windows...which is a theft magnet at the train station.

There should be lot's of room for the cub next year, plan is to try and sell the Nexstar before I leave in the fall... If there is anything left to sell...  I will be using the second hand wings I got and a new fuselage to start the season...And if all goes well, new wings sometime mid season to help with the sale.

Also got myself an mCPx v2 to play with in the winter... It was sooooo easy to fly on the sim...Not so much in real life. Going to need practice with that also...But that is for when I am sitting at the campsite

As stated.... Everything has been converted to Futaba Fasst except the mCPx since it has a built in receiver with AS3X gyro. And I am wondering where the money went! 

Last thing I want to get before I leave for Ontario is the Loc8tor....Hopefully no more searching in the beans...Just go straight to the plane.


Year two should be even more fun than year one...New planes, and the GREAT people that go to Temac... about 2 months to go.....See you then.

The weekend of April 20th... with the stop in montreal, should be there around 21 or 22.
