Thanks for the pictures, Michael and Greg.  I'm glad Greg was able to get a couple of good pictures of his Eagle on floats.  It looks great!

O.K., now settle down and let's talk about this...

You DON'T want a Flyzone Beaver because there are already TOO many at the shoreline.  They are ugly.  They don't float very well.  They don't fly worth beans.  The nav. lights are a gimmick.  The plane is expensive.  You have to buy a whole bunch of extra parts to build it.  It takes a LONG time to build.  You have to buy the float separately and figure out how to mount them.  Float flying is NO fun at all.  You DON'T want a Flyzone Beaver.

There.  Better?

And I think Robert built and test flew his at the field one evening.
Yea 400W/lb should about do it.. But wouldn't a nice round 500 be better?
