Hi Fella's,

Greg Cadez and I had a brief discussion about combat flying few weeks back.  Just wondering if anyone interested in combat for next year 2015 ??
Greg mention we could make it out of blue foam the cost of it isn't too much I believe.
How could we not get in on some action like this!!

Hi Mike, the trainee designation refers to your use of the forum. The more posts you make the better your designation.

We did start out flying with streamers and pretended we were aiming for them, but in fact we were trying to actually hit the other planes so we quickly gave up on the streamers. We are thinking of going back to them now though because they may be a help in finding crashed planes in the soy. The other day 3 of us were in combat. One of us crashed shortly into the fight but all 3 of us continued to fly for another 2 or 3 minutes each believing he was flying his own plane. The audience thought it was very amusing. It just showed how intense the flying is and how close the planes are together a lot of the time.

Papa

As part of the audience it was not amusing, it was bloody hilarious. Not only were all three flying two planes but were describing their individual manoeuvres. A priceless three minutes.
