ESC question

I have a MaxCim motor with gearbox that I'd like to put in a plane (Cap 232).

It's an 'old tech' motor with the sensor. I heard somewhere along the line that a sensored motor will run with a non sensored esc.

Is this the case?

Yes that works... at least in my experience.  Just don't use the sensor leads
