About the creeping charlie I made a couple of inquirys to find out how it is controlled.   The herbicide that works, and does not kill the grass, nor leaves any traces in the ground from past applications is Embutox.  I suggest to inquire the local farmer if he can get it.

another option, tested by a couple of agricultural universities, is borax mixed with water.  The major issue is that it can only can be applied once a year because it does leave residue in the land.

an update.  If you want to kill everything under the runway time for roundup,  Also the Borax thing does not work very well.  Conditiions have to perfect.

Hi everyone.

A big big thank you to all who came out to our spring clean-up this morning.
The great turn out allowed us to hit the donuts & coffee after a few hours of work, including rolling the geotex runway and pit areas.

The parking lot area remains a concern at this time due to a very soft (think "water bed") spot in the mid section.  For now it has been cordoned off with the barricade and chairs and I would ask everyone to refrain from driving/parking there. Parking is fine at the north and south ends, including the grass area down towards the loo.  Just drive gently through the centre section on the east (tree line) side.
