Thank you to all those kind, committed volunteers who showed up to clean the drainage ditch and tidy the chairs, tables & storage.  We are all grateful for your efforts. The field is officially closed now, which means there are no more events scheduled, and no more grass cutting.

If you do continue to use the field, please be considerate and pay close attention to the condition of the drive and the parking area.  If we damage the field now, when the ground is wet and soft, it means we have to wait longer to fly in the Spring, and ultimately spend more money on field maintenance.

Please note the date of the Advanced Build Class.  Wednesday 28th October at Colonel Mustards.  This is not a class with Instructors, and is designed for experienced builders.  We would encourage you to come and share progress with other class mates, you may wish to build in class, or maybe discuss tricky details or ask for help.

The Beginner/Intermediate class structure is also outlined.  Frank and Robert will build in class and demonstrate the techniques and show you how it's done.  You are welcome to just watch, or if you want, bring your kit in and build with the Instructors in class.  Or you can bring along the pieces that you have completed to show.  Experienced builders are welcome to join the group, to help individuals and support their development.  Next class Wednesday 4th November.
