Inexpensive planes

I just acquired a ratty old Funjet from the last 905 Squadron swap meet for $30 (including motor, servos and an Eagle Tree Pitot tube!!)

- Ratty old Funjet $30
- HK 60amp ESC $40 (although only pulls 30amps on 3S with the prop it came with)
- HK receiver $15

TOTAL: $85 Rat Rod = 161kph !!! (I love the pitot tube!!)  (+$8 for a 2200-3s battery from GensAce on awesome sale)

I tried 4s on this prop but it is pulling over 80amps, this motor has a max of 50amps. I will try changing the prop and see what I can do staying on 3s so that I can keep the noise low.

Who says you can't have cheap fun!!  (52 cents per KPH!!)
