Hitec X4 Micro Multi Charger - BEWARE

The Hitec X4 Micro Multi Charger is a fantastic charger for charging the 1S lipo batteries.  It is great to charge upto 4 x 1S batteries.  However, the charging port design (MX port) is not design for the E-Flite 1S.  You need an adapter for it. 

I didn't know about it and quite often my planes will lose power at flight.  At first, I thought it's the short lifespan of the lipo or the bad connector of the planes.  Until I saw this video (fast forward to 50 sec)

You can get the charger and the adapter from Pinnacle Hobby.

E-flite has a similar charger 'Ultra Micro-4' (EFLC1105A) that can be used with 1 cell lipos without an adapter.

That is - if you can purchase it in Canada.  This product is not CSA approve.  The only way to get it is pick up from US.

I heard that the newer 1105A IS available here. Pretty sure I saw it on the Pinnacle website.
