Super Windy Monday - Aug 13, by 2024

Another fabulous afternoon of high gusty winds from the NW (28 gusting 37 kmh).  Michael, David and Glenn put on great performances with a variety of beautiful aircraft, including several twin Otters, Michael's North Star (Laddie Mikulasko design - see photo) and Glenn's (wait for it...) Hurricane (see photos)😅.  Ken arrived later and put on a great show with his P51B Mustang. David Chui also gave his Apprentice a super inverted workout, while Ryan McLeod burned up the sky with his flying wing.  Definitely a great afternoon of flying with super winds and beautiful scattered cumulus clouds left over from the morning rains.
