The Big Nasty at TEMAC - Aug 17 2024

Fabulous menacing clouds at TEMAC at 1:30 pm.  No sign of Frank..... no sign of Mark (too windy).... But that insane Hoffer guy is out there taking pictures!!!  Jeff's chair is hiding out under a setup table - good thing because the sky just opened up!!  Nice little rivulets along the sides of the driveway.  The thunder has a nice deep throaty sound that would go nicely in Peter's P51 sound synthesizer!

#78 - Jeff's chair hiding out and staying nice and dry (well, sort of).
#95 - my Plan B if I get flooded out, or need a dry drop zone.

#20 -fully erect wind sock💨💨💨. (Wind sock, Michael.  Wind sock!!)

As I've said before, Rogo Field is a truly beautiful place, and a testament to Michael's foresight.  Good for flying, and good for the soul.

Ah that was you. I drove by and saw a lone car on the driveway. I was thinking this guy really got lucky to get a few flights in before the rain.
