Yesterday was a perfect flying day. Wind dropped to zero by 6:00pm. Frank, Brian, Raymond, Tuck and me were the students with Clair, Glenn and Roy providing instruction, support and encouragement.
Glenn did a maiden flight for Frank with what looked like a Bf 109. Sorry Michael too busy with company and my own escapades to get photo's and details. Will try to remember for next time. Perfect landing garnered a big round of applause. Glenn flew his jet and a twin that looked like a Heinkel.
I performed my first three point landing with the Telemaster. Unfortunately one of the points was the spinner and the other two was the landing gear which promptly departed the scene. Some bruises from the gear but otherwise very minor damage. All repairs completed at noon today so I'm just waiting for the glue to cure and then I will cover.
On inspection the original gluing of the ARF was very spotty but I guess you need some destructive testing to reveal it.

Looks like another great evening for flying, see you all there if you can make it.
