Well, what a day. Flew 5 aeroplanes, crashed 4!

2 are already repaired, 1 is nearly done and the last is a write-off. Bugger!

Great to see Ed, Liz, Jack, Gill (briefly) Don, Thomas, Gordon and new member Rob!

A strange day weather wise. But mostly pretty good for flying. There were a number of guys out today enjoying the holiday. Managed to fly the Scimitar a couple times today and it flew well. Some tinkering to do to make it really perform, but overall I was happy.

Greg and I went head to head with our EF1 racers and managed to split our two informal races at one win a piece. Rematches are planned. Lots of fun, and the runway made the takeoffs a dream.

Here's hoping for more good weather next weekend.

That's great to see you guys are out doing some laps, I haven't had my EF1's out yet.

I challenge ye all to a "race" this Wednesday ... four planes, left turns, and loads of fun .... before (or after student night)
