I had so so much fun with the VisionAire. Makes me wonder why everyone doesn't have one! I really look forward to learning new skills and maybe one day actually mastering the beast.

Do it while you can.

Looks like the conditions will improve today and the evening should be good for flying.

Training starts at 6pm

See you at the field.

Are you back Simon?
Any day at the field is a good day :)

Despite the brief downpour, we had some good conditions for flying last night and several students took advantage of that. Some notes from the field on the second to last day of training for 2013:

1. Graham and Bob had some great flights with their Apprentice models.
2. Bert flew his Mentor several times, solo! And did very well.
3. Robert Pike gave a short lecture on flying scale models.
4. Richard flew his Supercub in near perfect conditions.

One more Wednesday to go.

Hey, I wasn't lecturing Imran.  I was just offering some unsolicited advice   ;D

I started melting in the rain and wanted to head back.  Carmen ended up having diner on the table.. Sorry!

rookie mistake ...never head back home. As the Admiral once said "it's a trap"

Admiral Ackbar - "It's A Trap!"
"I'm disrespectful to dirt. Can you see that I am serious?"

You guys could have warned me ahead of time,....

Papa

You think anyone bothered to warn us?

Rob wasn't "lecturing", at least not in the normal sense  ;).

Some great advice Rob, thanks  ;D I could definitely see the change in my flying between my first and last flights yesterday.
Truly superior pilots are those who use their superior judgment to avoid those situations where they might have to use their superior skills.

I didn't imply that Robert was lecturing in a bad way...

Sometimes learning is fun.
