I have a question re motor leads.

I know that twisted servo leads are best for shielding random signals.
Does this also apply to motor leads from the ESC?

My leads will be 2' to 3' long.

My understanding is that twisting motor wires does help, but I don't think it's a concern with brushless motors.  I haven't been worried about the problem for many years.  But I'm happy to be corrected by those who actually know what they're talking about

Twisting servo leads works because two of the three are small signal ground equivalents, so they shield the signal wire.
(Both the power and the ground wire will act as signal grounds)

Are you trying to keep the motor/esc noise from interfering with other parts of the system, or worrying about noise getting into the ESC via the motor leads.

To be honest, Pat, I don't know what is likely to happen or even whether I should be concerned.

It was just that I have never had to run motor leads such a long distance.
