Wheat being planted around the field.

As I drove by the field today, I noticed that they are planting wheat this morning.  What this means to us.

   
• Since it is winter wheat it will grow about 1/2 ft, then will go dormant during the winter
• In the spring and earily summer will grow to the point when planes go in it will be hard to find them (ie think long grass)
• Bonus time, after it is harvested (early August),  The field is wide open and what is left has a nice cushioning effect.
