Hey Feist!  You better not turn our cool model airplane meeting into a nerd fest!   ;D

Just kidding.  I know you've been working on this for years, but I have no idea what it's about, so I'm excited for the presentation as I'm sure it's going to be very interesting.

I thought the Moon landings took place in some warehouse in Sacramento?
Takeoffs are optional. Landings are mandatory.

Skyking

Have you got any moon rocks?
I'd really like to have a moon rock.
Signed of course.

Ken
Actually, I can.

Ben,

Amazing work and great presentation at this evening's Pilot Meeting.  When you get this done and the 50th anniversary hits in 2022, two things will happen.
1)  You will have figured out a simple and interesting way to present this to the world and the internet "hits" will explode; and,
2) NASA in future will be "Feistizing" every mission history and you won't have to put up with snow any more.

It was a wonderful presentation on SO many levels. I admire your dedication and achievement Ben.

I loved the history of the story and got a small appreciation of the complexity and challenge of putting Man on the moon.

I loved the enormity of the mission - I was fascinated by the fact that the Saturn 5 rocket was the loudest man-made sound.

I was quite in awe of your use of technology and the capabilities of software to support your mission. I thought I was OK with video editing software but you took it to another universe!

And it made me want to know more! I wasn't born when the Apollo missions took place but you whet my appetite to know more.

Thank you again!

battlestu

I agree it was an awesome presentation!

BTW gave a listen/watch to the site that Ben was talking about ...

sit back with your headphones on and enjoy the ride.

The Mission lives on!

Marvellous.
I can really appreciate the drive behind your effort. You are actually writing history.
Your self discipline  is awesome to take on such a task that spans years.

My hat is off to you Ben

Actually, I can.

Thanks so much guys. It was really rewarding to see how interested everyone was. It's a pretty esoteric task that I often find hard to explain. This presentation was my first opportunity to explain it to anyone in any detail. I really appreciate the encouragement.

There's more detail on my effort on my website if you're interested: http://benfeist.com

Lastly, here's the website of the Apollo 11 interactive experience I showed at the end: http://firstmenonthemoon.com

Oh, I forgot to post the book I was telling everyone about that details the technical undertaking of Apollo. An acquaintance of mine in the UK wrote it. It's fantastic.

What was the other thing you mentioned, Ben - the Internet archive?
