This morning, our beloved morning crew hosted a small group of senior's from the Marleigh residence in Unionville.  It was a great outing for the seniors to experience a taste of the hobby and visit our field.  The morning crew went all out with a variety of aircraft to show, including their famous "war-wing" complete with streamers.

After a few refreshments, 99 year-old Steve took up Athol's kind offer to try out some flying on a buddy box.  I think Steve will be talking about that for days to come.  Way to go Athol!

Thank you to Bruce Weaver for coordinating this visit, and to all of the morning crew for sharing your Friday morning and putting big senior smiles on their faces.  :)  :D  ;D It feels really good to give back!

It was a pleasure to have them visit at the field. I know I had fun sharing the time I had chatting with them in between flights.

Note to self -  We all might be getting older but we don't have to grow up.   ;D
