Left the house at 8:30 am with windshield wipers going.  Returned home from the field at noon with wipers going.  The time at the field was glorious.  No wind, not a drop of rain, dense air for prop bite, had to wear sunglasses and a baseball cap.  Cadez, Dr. John and Peter  P. dropped by as witnesses.  Four flights and only one crash.  A great ratio.

Hey Andy, a great quote from Dr. John for those of us who continually try to define and achieve mediocrity:
"crashing closer to the runway (versus the field) is a form of improvement"

Thank you Frank.  I took your advice and went around 4:30p.  As you said, zero wind.  Mike H was at the field too.   Few of us flew the biplanes.  I even maiden the Theory W wing.

Wow! Frank really lucked out.  He totally missed me between 1:00 and 3:00.  I dodged a few showers and one thunderstorm, but otherwise winds were almost non-existent.  Runway was freshly washed, too, and the airborne flocks of geese were cooperative.  Beautiful day!
