Some interesting and strange ideas in the early days of jets - just look at the 4 engined, AW52 All-Wing aircraft and the jet propelled flying boat flying upside down? Crazy concepts.  In those early pioneering days, I guess all ideas were welcome. The Gloster Meteor and the DH Vampire, are two designs that we still see around today at occasional airshows and of course, in RC models. Very advanced designs considering their vintage?

Pretty cool footage Rog...two aircraft I'd never seen before!
Never ceases to amaze me that the Me 262 saw the advantages of swept wing several years before British, American and Canadian designs caught on.
