Here is how this sale will be handled.  A modified way of the way I have been handling these auctions.

- I will list the item for a more than fair price.
- there will be a 3 day window so you can research it.
- if you are interested in the item, you can register your name on the post.
- when the auction ends, all names will be put in a hat and the winner drawn, then published.  The draw will be audited . Andy and/or Graham and I will meet at the Donut Counter (Bayview south of Steeles), have a coffee and do the draw.  If only one person registers by the close, it will be his.
- winner will be published on the post.
- if no-one registers for the item, I have the option to buy it at that price or re-post it at a lower price or do a regular auction at a new start price.
- proceeds to TEMAC.

The reason for this approach: i) the buyer is guaranteed a great deal.  ii) eliminates split second timing requirements at the end.  iii) no requirement to be on-line at the close if you really want an item.  Some of us still work and have busy family lives.

Thank you Greg and Philip for participating.

Graham already called me this morning when we are going to have coffee and make the draw.  It will have to wait until tomorrow when I get a chance to go to that neck of the woods.  Sorry Graham that your coffee will be cold by then. ;D

Will post the results and PM the participants.

The draw took place in the parking lot of Princess Auto (Woodbine and 7).  The official draw was handled by Guy O'Rielly..using his hat... and the winner was....Philip!!
The event was witnessed and guided by my brother Mark who is visiting us for a week*.

The photo will be posted after dinner.

Proof that the draw was fairly handled.  The hat was questionable, that guy was questionable but my witness (background) approved the draw as being fair. ;)

In the parking lot of Princess Auto- Woodbine and 7.
