Last Sunday Andy and I had similar crashes which destroyed the motor box on the 62" span E-Flite Beaver.  Mine has a Power 25, Andy's has a Power 32.  The crashes happened about 5 minutes apart.

Rebuilding the motor mount.

Any re-build has two steps:
step 1- assemble everything with proper alignment and glue in place.  Do not worry about strength.
step 2- re-enforce everything to make it strong.

Photos:
72- the motor box in pieces
16- wing hold-down broken.

Repair:
step 1- put oil on the motor screws in case epoxy flows onto it. Photo 18
step 2- glue the motor onto the firewall.  Clamped in place. Photo 19
step 3- glue fibreglass over the breaks and let cure. Photo 21  Note- trimming is done later.
step 4- cut the excess cloth with an X-Acto knife.  Photo 22

Done!
