Hello Club Members;
I am looking to see if a member could 3D print one set of wheels and the jig/spacers.
The spokes are not printed, only the tires, hubs, wheel flanges, spacers and a jig.

The following are the details: Airplane Wire Wheel  by Willsonman on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5238711

Once printed, I will take care of the assembly as per the following video.
A video of the assembly is here. https://youtu.be/NtAUAUq3zFg
Thank you.

I am not the best printer yet but I am receiving new equipment soon. I might me able to take a crack at this in 2 weeks.

Thank you Colin;
Another TEMAC Member offered to print these for me and all arrangements were already made.
The wheels look great and when the printing is done and all wired-up, I will post pictures.

Also note the following supplemental video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkonkttQkTo

Thank you.

Wheels are being printed!!
So happy.

One wheel done, one more to go!
Slightly bigger than called for on the Elder 40 plan, but they will look great!!!
Thank you Mark.

And it turn true!

A quick coat of silver paint. I know, not a great masking job.  Should be painted prior to assembly, next time...
Looks better than white with green fishing line. ;D

Michael

Looks great!

I have those Elder plans in my car. I'll be at the field tomorrow afternoon, if convenient.

If not, I'll leave it in the car.

Thank you  Peter -  @ppalumbo - for the 3D printed wheel replacement.
It took me a few tries and had to re-look at the video before completing the wheels.
Now the Elder 40 can fly again, weather permitting.
Photo 8885 - the start, all is well, but after that step things got confusing.
Photo 8886 - DONE!
Photo 8887 - A lick of paint (and a 1/2 hour later spent cleaning the airbrush).
