This is a reminder that we will be having our 'Canada Day' barbecue at the TEMAC field on June 30th. Hotdogs and drinks are free to all current TEMAC members.
If it rains, we'll have it the next day, July 1. Flying starts anytime, and the barbecue will start around noon. Please add your name to this thread, so we know how many hotdogs to bring (so far, 23 hotdogs).  There is an informal theme to the get-together. If you can, bring a model that has a connection to Canada, or has Canadian decals. Some previous years, we made this a Piper Cub day, so, if you want, bring a Cub (Piper Cub, Super Cub, Carbon Cub). If you don't have a Canadian model or a Cub, bring a yellow airplane. If you don't have a yellow airplane, then any other colour will do!

All field and flight rules, protocols and safety procedures are in effect, as usual. There is enough parking for about 30 cars or so. Also, please remember that the field tables are for immediate pre-flight and post-flight maintenance only; plugging in or unplugging battery, etc. These are not stations for storing your equipment.

A blustery day but a lovely day of BBQ'd hotdogs and flying.  Thank you to all who contributed all kinds of great free stuff... every single bit went to good homes and was appreciated by all.  Thank you Rob and Mark for looking after the food and drinks and thank you Mark for being today's chef.  In speaking of my perfectly gilled hot dogs I will happily quote Wallace... "nicely done".

Great Day.  The weather held up.  The wind...and there was lots of it...was gusty and relatively strong.  Mostly down the runway from the north.
Thanks Mark for the food, Rob for the drinks, Michael for setting it up and the rest of the members for showing up.
Hot dogs bring out some people we do not see often like John and Karl (Morning Crew).

Photo report:
12- Mark smiling as he burns Davey's hot dog...by request.
13- Glenn and Simon sharing dog stories with David.  Real dogs, not hot dogs.
14- Sunglass salesmen Peter and Alex
16- Michael being presidential.
18- Karl dropped by.... between cruises.
19 John showed up with planes but did not fly.
21- Issy showed up with two power gliders. He flew when most people did not.
23- Rob and his Antic-like creation.
26- Issy flying.
28- Simon smiling while flying his back-up jet.
30- Oscar dropped by and flew.
31- George and Mark talking to a guest.
