Frank v B

The instructing team will be there tomorrow, Wednesday, by 5 pm until the job is done.
The weather forecast does not look good but consider it a day off all other activities we have to do either at work or at home. ;D

Wow!  It stayed dry.  Not a drop.

Students David, Jeff and Amir were handled by George, Simon and myself.
TX specialists Paul and Mark showed great restraint not getting Spektrum transmitters to talk each other without the use of a 5 pound sledge hammer.

Photo report:
49- Jeff returned from getting his plane after his instructor (me) crashed it in the main part of the field. Jeff's note to self: don't wear sandals when retrieving an airplane.
50- Jeff managed to smile.  His airplane was still in one piece and flew again. It had bitten into the crop.
51- Simon hiding his Type A personality really well.
52- David guarding his treasures in the back of his car.
53- Mark and Paul discussing ways to blow up Spektrum transmitters.
55- BJ made an appearance for the first time in a long time.  Health/heart issues.  Brought his new dog.
Great to see him up and around. BJ and his puppy.
62- Mark and Paul hatching their plan.  They decided to use C4 on the transmitters.

I seem to recall a very elegant solution to Mark's and Paul's distress.  It comprises a few strands of wire wrapped in a plastic jacket, with suitable 1/8-inch phone plugs at each end. Mind you, the simplicity and efficacy of this solution might inhibit somewhat the beautiful colours of their pronouncements, as well as their blood pressure, during more advanced TX set-ups. But actual student flying time on a given day would be hugely increased. Obviously I am missing something which has resulted in Mark's and Paul's craving for stress and cerebral excitation, but they are far more technologically advanced than I could ever hope to be.  I will just have to watch and listen in awe, as will the TEMAC students!

Looking forward to a fulsome dissertation on this from Mark and Paul!!  See you soon!

Andy is out of the country and obviously misses TEMAC immensely. ;D
