@Michael will your float-equipped-ducted-fan contraption be joining in the fun?

Job security for Cadez and myself*
Will bring two sailboats and the small tug.

What could possibly be more reliable than a weather forecast 48+ hrs away?!!!

Frank I can resist, English shortbread I cannot!!

Shall I bring a jug of coffee (or custom orders$ from Tim's for the gang or will pond water suffice? 😎

Andy

Noah

If this is happening next Monday I will be there(swimming this week also).

It would be nice to try something other than these "toy" airplanes.

I hate to disappoint you Andy but "shortbread" is the Secret Service code name for Les' Mum! I can't promise actual shortbread!

Andy Hoffer

Oh dear...

I guess I'll have to search out a decadent bakery on the way home!!

Fun at TooGood Pond today.  Present were members Andy, Simon, John, Admiral Guy, Paul and Graham.  Guests were Simon's wife Les and her mother "Shortbread".

We could have used more wind. Guy could have used more TX batteries.  His boat sailed away across the pond and he had to turn it around.  He sailed it back across but just before anyone could reach it, it turned around and went exactly to the same spot across the pond.  Poor Guy can now draw a complete map from memory of the terrain across the pond.

Photo report:
29- Les and her mother "Shortbread".
30- Shortbread pretending to like her son-in-law Simon.
32- Simon's flotilla.
33- Graham putting my sailboat through its paces...slowly.
36- Paul...sitting where he goes to when the Admiral yells "battle Station"
39- Andy and his recovery vehicle. "the little plane that couldn't"
41- John doing a poor imitation of the mermaid statue in Copenhagen harbour

You definitely won the award for most dedicated sailor, Guy!

Les & Shortbread had an amazing time and were very complimentary of everyone they met.  Comments like "They're all so clever!" and "what a wonderful bunch of Guys" were being heard on the journey home.
