Every New Year's day we meet at Tim's and then at Rogo Field for a quick flight.
Come join us at 10 am Tim's Woodbine. then we go to Rogo Field for 11 am for a quick flight....depending on the weather.  In the past, we have spent minutes at Rogo Field as well as several hours.  A game-time decision.

After flying we tend to return to Tim's to warm up.

Hope to see you there.

Frank

ps: I realize this is an hour later than in the past....because I am old now.  ;D

Skis/floats, wheels or hand-launch for Wednesday at Rogo Field?

Any advice from the regulars?

My default will be hand-launch.

Happy New Year to all members.

Four of us met at Tim Horton's Woodbine for breakfast at 10.  Rob D., Andy, Paul Scuse and I had a good laugh before going to freeze our collective rear ends off at Rogo Field.

The four of us went over to greet Michael and David.  Glenn also showed up with his golden Lab Buckie.

Michael and David had at least 3 flights, I brought my 2.4 meter span Cularis foam glider.  It flew fine except had trouble flying straight.  It turned out one flap was deployed, the other one was stowed.

Paul Scuse got answers to his experienced Apprentice that had trouble taking off. The battery ended up being defective.

Photo report:
31- Glenn showed up with Buckie.
34- Rob D. after a successful flight with his Stick.  Note the windsock in the background.
36- Paul Scuse before the Apprentice flight.
37- Michael.  Any day at Rogo Field is a good day.
39- Andy.  say no more.  Exploiting his talents as dresser-to-the-tent people after his stint at the CNIB. ;D
40- Glenn prepping his CF105.
