Temp -5C, Wind chill -15C

Wind NW 20 gusting 35 kmh

Snow depth on set-up tables: 2-1/2"
Snow depth on field: 6"

The fresh dry snow from last night's dump is beautiful, soft, fluffy and relatively dry.  It does not stick to skis at all.  And you would have to try really hard to bounce a landing!!

Of course, crosswind technique is a must for take-offs and landings aligned with the invisible runway.  But you already knew that !!

In a word, a simply fabulous winter day for fabulous winter flying at TEMAC Rogo Field. Gotta love it!!
