Come join a few of us on Friday, March 28 at 12:30. We are going to have lunch at Sam's (Woodbine and Stouffville) and afterwards- probably at 1:30 make some executive decisions:

- if the weather is painful, snowy, rainy or generally abusive- we will stay at Sam's, yak and laugh.
- if it is very windy but above zero and no precip- I will go for one flight with a hand-launch plane.
- if it is beautiful weather (above zero, sun, light wind, no precip) I will bring a plane with wheels.

Everything is a game-time decision at 1:30.
March 28- mark it in your calendar.

Frank

ps: Sam's has an awesome grilled chicken sandwich.

Gee, we finally got some real winter.

With nice brisk cold, great winds, and REAL snow.  Why would anyone want to kick that to the curb so soon?!! 😂😇

If weather is really nice, instead of the restaurant, join us for a BBQ (hotdogs and drinks) at noon at the field.

I'll confirm on March 27 in this thread.

I am bringing a hand-launch plane.
Not holding out much hope for sunshine and suntan oil. ;)

Hope to see several members out this Friday.
Michael will post the lunch location tomorrow evening. (hot dogs at the field or lunch at Famous Sam's).
One day closer to summer.

Weather will be so-so, but I'd rather have a few cool flights and a hotdog.

BBQ starts at noon, for those interested.

Food, flying and friends.

My plane is ready (Chica speed 400 hand launch).

ps: who did we put in charge of the weather??  The coming weekend's weather will be special.

It was very cold, but low winds made flying easy. Cold, but easy.

Hotdogs were hot and delicious!

Thanks to Frank for getting us out to the field. It was fun!

A few photos.

Ten of us showed up for the BBQ.  Thank you Michael.  Good dogs.
The group photo is missing George who dropped by a little later.

Ten members of Temac are either committed...or should be committed!!  ;D
