Sunday flying- Aug 31- a beautiful day- gliders were magic

Beautiful day.  Guy flew his Spirit 2 meter glider and I launched my 114" Flamingo- a 25 minute flight on 3 minutes of motor at less than half throttle.  The thermals were everywhere.  I had to use spoilers to come down.  Guy had to spiral down.

Great day at the field today.
It also included a humbling reminder, to not only check your that your control surfaces are moving, but that they are also moving in the correct direction!
