I made the trek up to the TEMAC field yesterday reckoning that, even given the dodgy weather forecast, seeing the guys again I've met at the last few EMFSO AGM's would make the trip worthwhile, and I sure wasn't disappointed. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing you all and meeting new friends, as well as flying at your field (though perhaps next time you could tone down that cross-wind a tad[]).  Thanks for a great day of warm hospitality!

Hey Tom don't knock that cross wind it gave you an opportunity to show off your excellent flying skills. Next year we will order a North Wind and West Wind at the same time and you can pretend you're landing the Corsair on a carrier!

LOL Jack! That would be a Northwest wind then? Actually, late last summer I did an inadvertent sort of carrier landing- hit the ground hard, bounced 6 feet back into the air whereupon she stalled hard to the left. The next impact snapped the wing in two, among other things, so it wasn't the best...[]
