That is one very strong joint.

The wings are coming along nicely.

As with my previous build/model, I added a carbon-fiber wing joiner after a crash due to a broken dihedral joint.

On this model I custom-built a snug-fitting carbon-fiber and plywood dihedral joint, which will be used instead of the (built from 2-piece of plywood) joiner supplied in the kit.

Otherwise, I'm building the wing mostly as per the instructions.

I intend to finish all balsa and plywood construction of the model before customizing it for the 4 electric motors.

used but basically brand new with manual, no damage working fine.

Testing the winch and booms.  All work as expected, no snagging of the sheets.
The sails are out being sewn (I have a great sister-in-law  ) and should be ready by the end of the month.
