I's love to see 6 to 10 gliders in the calm warm sky playing follow the leader!

... or maybe 6 to 10 gliders gently following each other around a 500 foot diameter circle.

Fun!

Or combat?  Or racing the Piker class course? Or FPV glider racing?  Or glider limbo?  ;D

My Red Eagle will be an FPV platform.  If we can get a bunch in the air together we should get some good air to air video   :)

OK, I am looking forward to meeting again on the 2nd of March.
As some of you know I have been somewhat tied to home for the past few months.
So recently to keep myself busy I finished my RedEagle.
I know I asked the experienced builders to stay with the students and not build ahead.
I can't follow my own instructions.

Anyway here is the finished model using a PT-19 theme for the colour inspiration.
I also needed to use up some scraps of covering, some of which is very old and the quality somewhat suspect.

Jack,

re:"I can't follow my own instructions."

Stand in front of the mirror and give the guy you are looking at a lecture about following instructions, shrug your shoulders and walk away.

Frank

ps: nice and colourful RedEagle.

Your red Eagle looks great, Jack!  Nice work.

BTW, no word on the props and spinners yet, but I didn't expect them sooner than a couple of weeks anyway.  Maybe we'll have then for next weeks Red Eagle build.

piker

Look what I had delivered to my work today.  Enough props and spinners for everyone!

I'll bring them to the class on Monday!

Your welcome Ton,

I like to give credit when credit is due.

Right now we have had some 32 days where it has not gone over 0 degrees C.
Today was -11 with a wind chill of around -20.
We are so looking forward to getting out and flying.
