Maidened my second one today. Was a bit rusty as it was my second flight in the last three weeks. Flew ok, but man what a slow poke! Can anyone recommend a 28mm size reliable hobbyking motor?

What size packs will fit in that plane?  If it would fit 4s 2000's would be a rocket ship. I will work on some numbers for you if your interested.
Yea 400W/lb should about do it.. But wouldn't a nice round 500 be better?

Apparently an el-cheapo hobbyking prop, I tried again with an APC 5X5 and it was loads better. Not blistering, but good enough for some fun in the winter chill  ;D

First runs on Doppler today yielded 170kph.  Not bad at all. And it launches/lands like a *****cat
