Takeoffs are optional. Landings are mandatory.

I maiden it after Greg trim it for me.   Thanks again Greg!!

I found out the BNF comes with some sort of telemetry display.  In my DX9, once I clicked the Auto-Config under the Telemetry function, it will come up with several telemetry settings.  I don't know how I can utilize it.  I did manage to test one function called R/X voltage.  After my flight, the R/X voltage will show 5.1v.  When I remove the battery, it will show 3.6v.  The telemetry also shows some sort of range icon (how strong the signal to the r/x).

Here is the video of my maiden flight.

Eight of us in the morning crew bought the E-flite P51Ds for fun and formation flying.

Craig and I maidened ours this morning.  They flew great.  Didn't need any trim.  Craig was happy with his too.  It was quite windy and I was able to bring mine easily into the end of the runway and a reasonably good landing with no trouble at all.  I think the AS3X receiver did the trick in this instance.

A great plane.  I am looking forward to the fun we will have with them in the future.
