Anyone know whether the Canadian model company (that I think was known as) "Models by John" is still operating. They used to sell a foam Avro Arrow but I can't find it/them when searching the Internet.

Hey Simon, Models By John closed back in November or so ... but John still sells the odd kit "personally".  However he's now a "snowbird" and thus spends winters (October to April) in California.

Dunno if it's the same John but John Dutkoski used to sell foam Avro Arrow kits out of his basement in West Hill. I think he's still a member at RCFCT and they might have contact info for him. Try contacting Richard Staron.
BTW I have one of his Arrow kits (pusher I think) in the basement.

John just sent me the following, he thinks he has one left... Here is the subject of his email..

..If I have any of the motors left, the Mega Acn 22/30/2, it would be a good setup for power. On 4 cells, the plane goes vertical until you decide that's high enough.

The kit alone is $100.00 but with the motor, it's $203.00, I give 10% off the motor price when bought as a combo.

I do not have the fibreglass cloth at home though, it's with me..... So he'll have to get some from either Pinnacle or A&J's

Thats the same power set up that John sold me to put in my FW Flitzer.
I use a 80 amp ESC and it goes like stink.
