In case you need help maidening an airplane or you are a new member needing a check flight, I am planning to be at Rogo Field this coming Sunday 11 am - 1:30 pm.

The weather forecast looks good.

Beautiful day.  Sunshine, wind down the runway.  No attendance taken but Mark, Graham, Andy, David, Simon C., Jan J., Jim Spence, Mike Brodey, Glenn, Rob D. and new member Jimmy had a great time.

Hilites:
Simon C. maidened his Canard and his Elder 40
Rob flew his Denight Special, Elder 40 and large Cessna 172
Simon had at least 3 flights with his MixMaster (helicopter).

Lowlites:
- In quick succession there were 3 crashes- Mark ditched his Spitfire (is OK), my E-Flite Beaver (motor broken off, wing mount broken) and Andy's E-Flite Beaver (motor knocked out, landing gear loose)...or as it will say in our flight logs "have to re-tighten a few screws".

Photos to follow.

Frank- thanks for chucking the Canard skywards rather than into the dirt... the elder wasn't a maiden but might as well have been as it hadn't flown for a while!

Photos from Sunday:

52- Simon adding a glove to the plane to stop the battery from shifting.
54- Simon just before flying.
55- Rob and a coat of SPF 30
57- Graham dropped by.
61- Andy and the other guy with two E-Flite Beavers.  I crashed mine on take-off.  Andy crashed his 5 minutes later in sympathy.
64- Simon and his backwards plane.  It flew forward but its flight can best be described as "skittish"
68- Andy with a significant thrust problem- broken motor mount.
69- Andy doing post-crash surgery.
71- Glenn arrives for work.
