On Wednesday, April 30, we are planning to 'roll' the runway flat, and level out some sections of the runway, and maybe smooth out some edge-transitions to grass.

The roller is scheduled to arrive between 9am and 11am.

We plan on taking turns/shifts driving the roller, and we may have to do some shoveling and wheel-barrowing of dirt.

So far, the average age of volunteers exceeds 65 years. We are happy to accept any help (bring shovels). Coffee and donuts will be available in the morning, and we'll have a BBQ (hotdogs) between noon and 1pm. If the weather is decent, hopefully we can fly by early afternoon.

If David reads this, perhaps he can add some details, and update with more information tomorrow.

Hotdogs may be available to non-volunteers, once the volunteers have had their fill. Bring your own drinks.

Thanks to the Board for organizing this important work.  I sincerely wish I could be there to get in the way, but I have to assist my good spouse with post-surgery medical appointments on Wednesday. Have fun rolling around on the grass and the runway.

Watch out for goose artifacts!!😇

Roller and wheelbarrow should be at the field by 9am tomorrow (Wednesday).
No one has to be there for delivery.

AMPOT is coming tomorrow as well to service the portable toilet.

I'm not going to be there until about 10am.

Saw the crew working hard fixing and rolling the runway.
Yes, I was there but at 2,000 feet trying to cheer you on.
Thank you for your hard work.

That was a great treat seeing you today Guy.  Thanks for the fly-by and the wing waggle... excellent.

The field is rolled, the runway is rolled and re-stretched.

Thank you so much Glenn and Mark, Rob, and Michael... very much appreciated.
