As the weather gets colder and wetter, and as the sunset creeps earlier and earlier, our outdoor flying season at TEMAC is approaching its conclusion.

Once the driveway becomes too wet and soft, the field will be officially closed for 2008.

As well, to save money, and to reflect the dwindling flyers using the field, the last grass-cutting of the season will take place on Tuesday Sept. 23.

Oh well, it's soon time to start repairs and new model-building, and let's start checking the EMFSO website homepage for indoor flying dates.

We had beautiful fresh breezy cool fall weather Monday and Tuesday evening (Oct 6 & 7).  No bugs at all!! Grass is still a good height for ROG with TEMAC wheels.  You'll want a nice warm jacket and maybe a scarf for when the sun gets low.  Road was nice and dry, but path to the "washroom" is a bit soggy.  Probably a few more good days left, depending on how long it takes for the road to dry out after the forecast rain on Wednesday afternoon.
