It's snowing this evening.

Jack Higgins and I have dismantled and removed the tables from the TEMAC field.

The entire grass area is very wet, and not safe for a car.

Please repair, build, clean and prepare your model airplanes for next season.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! [:(]

It was a good season. I hope that 2010 brings us clear skies, light winds, less corn, and lots of flying.

Takeoffs are optional. Landings are mandatory.

It's ok Greg you don't have to go cold turkey. There are still some plastic tables and the ground will freeze shortly. The corn won't be coming down until it does freeze, not with the amount of water in and on the land. Your F-16 will ski on the snow.

Jack,

Wrong Hazelton :)... But I think my Stryker should be able to land on the snow as well.

Sorry Mike, just think of snow as grass with an attitude!

Seriously, I think that unless its below freezing for some time, it will be dangerously muddy.

If you have some uncontrollable urge to go to TEMAC, stay on the rocky driveway.

If it's icy, stay away.

Don't worry Michael, I won't do anything stupid... [:D]

Did anyone fly today?

The weather was great!

I was at the hobby show most of the day; I did a lot of indoor flying.

yep a few of us were out (Glenn, Mike H, Philip, and me)

It was a great day for flying and i don't think anyone crashed [:)].... it's always nice to come home with nothing to fix.

Here's hoping next Sunday is nice [8D]

Landing on snow or ice (without skis) is rough; sort of like landing on sandpaper or rubble.

It could damage the foam.

I'm not even sure your fingers would stay warm enough to last through one battery. You'd have to pry your fingers off the sticks. Barring any more "above average" weather days I think I'll pass on the winter flying.
