Anyone going out tonight?
Looks like it might be the last good night for a few days.

I'm going to come out. The wind forecast is different on every site I check but it looks like it will be OK.
Takeoffs are optional. Landings are mandatory.

Ya baby!  Been there and done that.  Winds were a fairly steady 8 knots (14 km/h) from the southeast (about 45 degrees off the runway) between 4:00 and 5:00 pm.  Gorgeous crosswind conditions.  Ya gotta love it!!!

Go get it boys!

CHEERS!

It turned out to be a pretty good night at the field. Although only a few guys showed up. Flew my Trojan and Stryker numerous times and my Formosa racer had a successful maiden flight. All in all a good night.

PS. A couple of us ran into the Farmer at the end of the night and he confirmed that this year's crop will be soy beans. Much better news than corn!

Was a great night. Some steady wind when I got there at about 6pm, but there was a gradual decline down to nothing as the night went on. It was just about perfect.

Flew my Toledo special around for 3 packs... finally getting the hang of landing that one.
Also successful maiden of my funjet. Turns out 1" more prop can make a BIG difference.

All in all a great night, especially since it's still April (well last night was anyway)!
