Crash and Rebuild Thread

Who has some story's to share of their worest crashes and rebuilds?

Crash:

I will start with the Electrifly Sopwith, Maiden, took off nice, went straight up and tilted to the right and nosed in!   Broke the cowl and split both upper and lower wings.  I was standing motionless as I spent so much time on the plane to make it look like Roy Browns Sopwith Camel.

Rebuild:

CA's the crack in the balsa (noticed all the glue let go) Recovered both upper and lower wings, ordered new cowl.

Leason:

After investigating, tail heavy, added 2 1/4 to the nose and the cg is closer.  Try again if the weather permits... ;o) Stop being impatient...
