Sorted through my full size plan collection for Jack's upcoming TEMAC Plans registry and exchange.  I found 98 of them!! We had been talking about nostalgia issues and planes (his posts on "First flights", "PAAload": we talked about Veron and Keil Kraft kits).  I came across a plan for the Phantom Major by Keil Kraft "a 32" span RC version of the Keil Kraft Phantom Mite control line model.  Uses an 09 diesel and 2 function RC"

It is not a kit I ever built but it was one I aspired to when I was flying 1/2A control line as a 10 year old kid.

Yesterday at noon I cut out all the parts.  It has a flat plate 1/4" balsa Spitfire-type elliptical wing.  Now 24 hours later the wing is together, the fuse is half built, the Supertigre .10 is in the nose, the battery hatch has been cut and made.  RC installation is next so I can close in the tail end after the push rods are in.

Oh, yes.  It has wheels.  A relatively new concept for me. :)

My dear wife has said for years that I am the poster child of ADD in adults.  ;D   I have no idea why. :-X

Is this one of the "2 in" relating to the one out, Frank!?

Simon, if you are referring to my motto in the buy/sell post "sell one, buy two"  I am afraid this is a bonus plane.... unless the Leader 480 sale to you allows me two more. .. for a total of four.
So far my new planes are the E-Flite P51, the Unionville Norseman (required course material as a Temac building instructor) and the Phantom Major.  Hell, I am one short of my max for spring.  Will fix that soon. ;D

I will bring the Leader 480 instruction booklet to the pilot's meeting.
