What is the (rough) ratio of amps drawn by a motor when measured static on the work bench versus unloaded in flight at speed??

If I am reading 25 amps static (wot), what would you expect it to be while in the air?

Need for speed, not smoke. ;D

If it's a fairly clean design it will unload 10-15% depending on how hard its being loaded. If its loaded KV is %75 of unloaded kv could be as much as %20.
Yea 400W/lb should about do it.. But wouldn't a nice round 500 be better?

Thanks Ed.  I knew either you or Ben would have the answer.
