I am thinking of getting a DX9 but was worried about the work required to transfer all my models from my DX7s.  So I did a google search and found this thread.....

I just tried it with using a DX8 Micro Mosquito SPM file.  It converted it to DX9 SPM format.  The DX8 Mosquito SPM contains Spoileron setup, trimming and expo.  I then import it and it works perfectly.  It even enabled the spoileron and differential option without me setting up first. 

Now if there is an utility to upload your own voice alert?  That will be cool. 

Imagine when I put on the full throttle, it will pop up Austin Power voice - 'Yeah Baby'.

Thanks guys! After ranting at Spektrum when the 34 models I had on my DX8 card would n't transfer to my new DX9, found the same link and converted 32 of the 34 models successfully to DX9 format. Now, if that technology is out there, why isn't Spektrum supporting DX7 and 8 owners with the conversion software? Planned obsolescence seems a strange way to cultivate brand loyalty!
Two models out of 34 appear to have converted but the DX9 cannot find them on the SD card...any hints?
