Firstly, congrats to Robert on a well deserved win.  It's a nice plane (shame you crashed it later!  ;D )

I went straight home and started on my next racer - I've got to keep that @piker behind me!

Although the speed sounds high, I can well imagine that it's in that region.  The EF1 planes that we fly are meant to be around 120mph and (although the Nooner/Piker class racers are smaller) they look to be marginally slower than our Piker class planes.  Maybe we should race EF1 against Piker class, just as a demo?

Hi Simon,

Mike and tried this few weeks ago and if i remember correctly the EF1 planes had about 10-15mph on the nooner
@thehaze do you remember the result?

maybe we can get Rob up with us next time we get some laps with the EF1

BTW congratz on the maiden of your new racer!

Wow - great photo Greg!  Thanks.

Looks kind of plain and "naked" - needs some go faster stickers!

Simon    The E F 1's are much faster with the 65c lipos, I have been running these, there is a big difference from the Hk Nano Techs 35c.
These pack are a little expensive though at 62. bucks US, the Nano Tech 65c 2700 are pretty good but a little heavy.
Congrades on the Invictus maiden, how does it perform? @sihinch

Invictus flew great.  Really was nice.  Tail wheel is a little high, so it tended to nose over when taxiing, but flying was great.

I went with the Arrowind motor and plush ESC in this one (running E-Flite and YEP in the Nemesis) and it tended to puff the battery.

Thanks Simon!  Anyone could have taken that race.  I feel lucky to be the one this time.
