I like this and will probably get one. I love flying my Mig.

None of the issues with puffed batteries and over-stressed ESCs that seem to come with the larger EDFs. Smiles per $, these little E-Flite EDFs are a winner, in my opinion.

Maiden flight

This plane is perfect for EDF beginner. 2S 200mah, battery all the way forward. Flight time is about 4 minutes.

The micro Habu is a terrific model airplane.

It's probably one of the best dollar values, when considering flying enjoyment to cost.

Simon has one of these, and I have the previous generation version.

It'll be fun to fly these all together (in the warm weather).

I did think about flying yesterday and contemplated coming to the field but looking at these videos I'm glad I didn't. You all look so cold!!!

Yesterday weather (Dec 21) was absolutely beautiful. Temperature is about 1c and wind is less than.3km/h. This plane is so much fun. It can slow down to just above 1/4 throttle without stall. Great for someone like me who is beginner to EDF. It uses the same battery (200mah 2s) as umx icon. I have so much fun that on my last flight (on my 5th battery), I forgot to set the timer and ran into dead stick. Luckily I was slowing down to approach to land. I made the turn in hope to land on the runway / grass. The plane is safe.

Another cool video

Thanks for sharing, Oscar.

Just a quick word to you and everyone else flying these days.
With the freeze-thaw cycles, the staples for the runway are popping up. In some cases, as high as an inch.
(You can see some at the beginning of Oscar's video).

They can be pushed back down by gently stepping on them.
To avoid any unintended removal of aircraft components, I recommend a quick walk up and down the runway checking for popping staples along the centreline, edges, and taxiways.

Great shots Oscar. There is a surefire way of not running into your camera. Aim for it!! You will never hit it.

If you try to avoid it you will collide with it every time. I remember your B-17 video.

Frank - You are absolutely right. I was trying to see whether I can low pass just above the camera. And it never able to fly pass thru in a straight line.
