It was a "lively" January Pilots' meeting, with a thought provoking discussion about gas conversion projects and power system design.  The collective knowledge was extensive, if not always unified!  I loved the "show 'n' tell" with some really great models on display.  It was easy to admire Robert's large Stranraer, but there were many other models that deserved the applause and attention of the audience.  My favourite was Simon Chapman's Tucano in the 2012 Jubilee colour scheme - very eye catching.

For our remaining Pilots' meetings, unless we have a big crowd, we will be eating upstairs in the bar.  Unfortunately it's just not viable for Colonel Mustards to put on extra staff for less than around 30 people.  It certainly didn't hamper the fun or chatter for the January meeting.  We're still very lucky to have the downstairs space available to us, free of charge, for our meetings and build nights.

And don't forget to put Sunday 13th March in your diary.  Michael will be hosting us at his work for the "Jack Higgins Estate Auction."  10am doors, free pizza at noon and then auction at 12:30pm sharp.  This is exclusively for TEMAC members, and as per Mary Higgins request, all proceeds go to the club.  This is a cash only event, with all items needing to be paid for and removed on the day of the auction.  Watch out for further updates and the details of items.

Eric don't worry, you weren't there.  You were photoshopped in.  ::)
